About Veritas seconds: this stock of our right-hand skew rabbet plane (05P4577) has some minor cosmetic flaw – a scratch, a pit in the casting or tiny blemishes – but the plane is functionally perfect. Quantities of seconds are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
With a blade skewed at a 30° angle to reduce cut resistance and aid in shaving clearance, this plane produces clean corner cuts and reduces tear-out on cross-grain work.
